Responsibilities

  • Write engaging copy that inspires and informs the customer across key digital touch points: social media (Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Instagram,Tumblr, Twitter) as well as emails and supporting assets for sale events, outlet, CRM initiatives and new store openings.
  • Bring seasonal merchandising and marketing initiatives to life through words and wit through a global lens.
  • Work closely with Senior Editorial Director and brand art directors to conceptualize these ideas, and partner with the digital art directors as well as marketing strategy and creative marketing teams and merchants to execute content

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to work under deadline pressure with excellent attention to detail, as well as a holistic vision
  • Ideas person and problem solver, with the flexibility to balance editorial and business needs
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely and easily, as well as the ability to self-edit and sense-check text
  • Culturally aware, with the insight and empathy to be inclusive on a global scale
  • Online fluency (websites, blogs, etc.) with the curiosity and insight to ensure the brand stands out in the crowd
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different types of people and departments
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt and re-prioritize according to rapidly growing company needs
  • Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit, balanced with a team mentality
  • A positive attitude (and a sense of humor)
  • A broad liberal arts education or equivalent work experience. B.S. or B.A. in Journalism, English or Creative Writing preferred.
